Zoe Dessert & Presotea St-Mathieu is a compact spot in the heart of Montreal’s bustling Saint-Mathieu corridor, blending dessert shop charm with bubble tea culture. Locals and visitors drop by primarily for the refreshing fruit-forward bingsoos — the small Mango and Strawberry options are consistently favored — and an eclectic bubble tea lineup featuring everything from classic Pearl Milk Tea to more unusual blends like Barley Milk Tea or Lychee Jelly Milk Tea. The menu also ventures into creative territory with items like Nutella and Peanut Butter Condensed Milk Egg Waffles, durian pancakes served with ice cream, and even savory snacks such as takoyaki and chicken wings, offering an unexpected touch amid the sweets.

The atmosphere inside can feel a bit tight, especially during peak times when the steady stream of dessert seekers leads to a noticeable wait. The space caters well to those who prioritize treat-focused outings over lingering lingerers; it’s less a place to settle in for hours and more a stop to satisfy a craving or cool off. Flavor lovers who appreciate diverse and well-crafted Asian-inspired sweets and teas will feel right at home here, while the vibrant presentation of many dishes adds a sense of occasion that suits casual meetups or solo breaks.

Because of its popularity, mid-afternoon or early evening visits are the best way to avoid the busiest waves, but weekend crowds are common given its reputation as a go-to for bingsoo and bubble tea in Montreal. Fans particularly rave about the fresh, juicy mango bingsoo and the soft texture of the egg waffles, both standing out amid the many dessert options nearby. For those who prefer to explore savory alongside sweet, the surprisingly good takoyaki and chicken wings add a nice balance.

In sum, Zoe Dessert & Presotea offers a taste of contemporary Asian dessert creativity in a small but lively setting where locals come for quality treats more than sprawling ambiance. It fits neatly into the neighborhood’s growing scene of casual dessert spots, offering comfort on hot summer days or as a well-earned indulgence after a long weekday.

Great ice cream with lots of delicious choices. The quality is worth it, but the wait can be long and the shop feels very cramped. Still a nice treat if you don’t mind the crowd.

It’s my go to dessert place! It has a great varieties of food, both salty snacks and sweets. Today we had mango bingsoo, and a jelly with mango and tarp glutinous ball, it was very good. Hit the spots!! Also a great place for bubble tea drinks. Must try!

We came here for dessert after dinner. It was one of my favorite dessert places in Montreal. I ordered 芦荟杨枝甘露. It was really good! I love all mango desserts. They also have amazing crepe cakes. I've tried all three flavors (vanilla, matcha and tiramisu). I loved them all.
